TimeTell

Installing TimeTell as an icon on your desktop.
Go to the start and click on Run, and fill in: \\ele-time. Open folder Setup and run Setup.exe. Choose the language you prefer, and an icon will be coming on your desktop. Also the name will appear under Programs. You can directly start writing hours on your own list. Your TU/e account is used for TimeTell.

You can fill in your working hours in TimeTell from outside the TU/e by using the new webmodule.
Due to continuous attacks of the TimeTell server in the last few days, we had to take some measures that restrict the access to this server. All network traffic to the server not coming from inside the TU/e is blocked, except for those ports that are used by the web service.
When you access the TimeTell server using the TimeTell client from any PC within the TU/e you should not notice any differences.
When you use the web server to access the server (use https://timetell.ele.tue.nl/ ) you should not have any problem connecting to the server wherever you are.
However when you use the TimeTell client outside the TU/e campus (i.e. at home) you will need to setup a VPN connection to the TU/e first to be able to connect to the TimeTell server. See http://w3.tue.nl/en/services/dienst_ict/services/services_tds/vpn/ for more information on how to setup a VPN connection.
