PhI is teaching an introductory course on Fibre Communication in the Bachelor Program, and it organises practicals on Free-Space optical communication experimental Physics. In the Master Program it teaches four courses: Modern Physics and Optics, Electro-Optic Components, Photonic IC Design and Photonic Integration Technology. PhI offers research training to both TU/e and international Master Students, and to PhD students.  Further it provides a yearly international two-weeks training on Photon IC design and technology as a preparation for designing Photonic ICs in JePPIX multi-project wafer runs (See JePPIX).
